english bulldog eating grass {#OneBeautifulThing}

Now if that title didn't get your blood pumping I don't know what will! My one beautiful thing:

#OneBeautifulThing

Can I tell you about this dog?

He's lazy.

He has a gas problem.

He snores louder than my dad.

Did I mention he's lazy?

Sometimes he doesn't get out of bed until we're eating dinner.

He has to be picked up and hoisted into the bed.

It's ugly.

I can't pick him up all at once.

He weighs 75 lb.

I have to pick him up in pieces.

You should see it.

No you shouldn't.

But I love him dearly.

We've had him longer than the kids.

That distinction gets him out of a lot of trouble.

That, and the fact that he's very soft.

And he sits at my feet when I'm writing and keeps me company.

My mom says he has a face (and everything else) only a mother could love.

And I do love him dearly...

He's my one beautiful thing for this week friends. What's yours?
